Validate graph outputs and simulation count after applying direct template parameter overrides.
Use path_simulation when creating simulation pressure paths in geopressuretemplate().
Add sensor clock drift correction to tag_create(), alongside time_shift (hours): time_drift is in hours per 365.25-day year, with positive values adding time. Both accept a scalar for all sensors or a named list; omitted sensors receive zero correction. time_reference defaults to the earliest original measurement across all sensors, or accepts an explicit UTC timestamp. Corrections use original timestamps and a shared reference, independently of recording duration, before cropping (#177).
Round all sensor timestamps to milliseconds after correction and before cropping, including when no correction is supplied. Warn when rounding creates new duplicate timestamps, even with quiet = TRUE, while retaining all measurements. Timestamp-based labels cannot distinguish colliding readings.
Preserve millisecond timestamps throughout label files, TRAINSET saves, downloads, backups and chart selections, light grids and measured/astronomical twilights. Restore original measurement timestamps before joining pressure API responses that truncate times to whole seconds; stop on ambiguous incomplete responses. Keep exact label matching, tolerate millisecond rounding in sampling checks, and use complete daily light grids and whole-hour pressure grids. Rerun analysis from original raw data and regenerate timestamp-dependent labels when changing clock corrections.
Breaking change: rename the geolight_map() argument and stored configuration key refine_fitted_location_scale_km to refine_fitted_location_scale. Update scripts, configuration files and param$geolight_map; the old name is no longer accepted. Units remain kilometres and the default remains 20. Internal scale_km, radius_lat_km and radius_lon_km likewise become scale, radius_lat and radius_lon.
Keep TRAINSET measurement and elevation-proposal charts on date axes, preserving millisecond timestamps while displaying readable automatic date/time ticks at each zoom level.
Add fast, offline regression tests for template parameter handling, output selection and ARCO processing, and ARCO chunk reuse.
Document the argument naming convention in AGENTS.md: public and internal argument names omit unit suffixes; parameter documentation states fixed units and duration conventions for rates.
Add regression tests for corrections, millisecond rounding and collisions, label round trips, TRAINSET saves and selections, twilights, API joins and processing grids. Validate the supplied 29JH data (21,272 pressure readings) with zero and ±12 minutes/year drift and live API queries. The full test suite passes with one existing wind-test skip and one unrelated API altitude warning; formatting and lint checks pass.

era5_dataset = "single-levels" gives the most accurate altitude in pressurepath_create(), pressurepath_create_api(), pressurepath_create_arco(), geopressure_timeseries() and geopressure_timeseries_arco(): against 271 NOAA ISD stations, altitude mean absolute error is 9 m, against 55 m for "land" and "both". Defaults are unchanged in this release.variable against the resolved backend and ERA5 product, with an error naming a working configuration and suggestions for near-misses, instead of returning all-NA columns. Add pressurepath_variable_available() to list the variables each source and era5_dataset can return.date, stap_id, pressure_tag, label, lat, lon, then the requested variables in the order asked for, any other columns, and finally surface_pressure_norm, sunset and sunrise. The ARCO backend no longer adds surface_pressure when it is not in variable, matching the API backend, and era5_dataset, source and variable are recorded as attributes.edge_add_wind() now takes the same long names as tag_download_wind() (GRIB short names are deprecated) and its var column holds long names; tag_download_wind() validates variable.param for provenance (geopressure_map(), geolight_map(), tag_label_auto(), tag_stap_daily(), graph_add_wind()).pressurepath_create_api() and pressurepath_create_arco() on the pressurepath_create() page and fix equation rendering on the pkgdown site, and likewise geopressure_timeseries_api() and geopressure_timeseries_arco() on the geopressure_timeseries() page.warning field returned by GeoPressureAPI instead of silently discarding it.Full Changelog: https://github.com/GeoPressure/GeoPressureR/compare/v3.6.1...v3.6.2
