The package provides a unified workflow to ingest spatial datasets, estimate and visualize spatial correlation structures, fit multiple dependence models including vine copulas (C-vine and D-vine), Gaussian models, and stochastic fields, and compare them using quantitative indicators to support model selection. Based on the selected model, the package enables the generation of spatially dependent pseudoscenarios for uncertainty analysis and simulation studies. The design emphasizes numerical robustness, modularity, and reproducibility across heterogeneous spatial data sources. authors: - family-names: Clavijo Mesa given-names: Maria Valentina email: valentina.clavijo@polimi.it orcid: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6052-5771 repository: https://ropensci-staging.r-universe.dev repository-code: https://github.com/Valentina9619/HazardMaps commit: 2e0b715bab7f5fec3e58aa3721bbba329aabd6bd url: https://valentina9619.github.io/HazardMaps/ date-released: '2026-10-15' contact: - family-names: Clavijo Mesa given-names: Maria Valentina email: valentina.clavijo@polimi.it orcid: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6052-5771
